Castle's Cameo TC, OFA
(Sire: Sel. CH Braunhaus Samurai OFA - Dam: CH Castle's Queen Victoria, RN, CGC, TC, HIC, OFA, CERF)

Cameo is a solid-black German Shepherd who came into my life prematurely on Labor Day weekend, September 4, 2005. Her mother, CH Queen Victoria, suffered severe complications during the emergency C-Section and I had to bottle feed little Cameo and her surviving sister, Clover. Both of them thrived and developed into beautiful, intelligent girls with personality plus. Click here to visit Clover’s page.
Cameo and her sister, Clover, were only two of six puppies to survive. Their mother, Victoria, was kept in the hospital while I brought the two tiny puppies home. It was a long, tiring ordeal bottle feeding them every two hours. We toughed it out and the two girls thrived as they grew stronger and stronger. Victoria beat all odds and finally came home, but needed constant care.
After 14 months of surgeries and pain, I had to say goodbye to my precious Vickie. She had lost the fight and I had to let her go, but she left me with the greatest gift ever, my Cameo.
Cameo is not a show dog, but she is the most intelligent dog, ever. She has filled my life with more love and joy than I could have ever imagined. No dog can ever replace her mother, but I know things happen for a reason. Maybe someday I will know why Vickie had to leave me. In the meantime, as Cameo continues to develop and mature, she will continue to be a blessing in my life and in the lives of those who cross her path.
